Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Utah Symphony & Opera announced that David Green, their former Director of Operations, will assume the organization’s newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Craig Zollinger was recently promoted by Bank One to Middle Market Segment Head for the West Markets. Bank One’s West Markets include Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. Questar has chosen Keith Rattie as its new Chairman of the Board.
Here’s what people are saying about the Chamber’s new President, Lane Beattie. "Lane Beattie is a great choice to lead the Chamber,” says Salt Lake County Mayor Nancy Workman. “He understands business and he understands Utah. He'll be an incredible leader."
Wasatch Baskets & Gifts has introduced Baby and Wedding do-it-yourself Time Capsules. The capsules are designed to be filled at the time of an event, such as a wedding, and then opened later at another event—such as an anniversary or graduation.
Printech celebrated its 15th year in business in May. It began with two workers in 1988 and currently employs 60.
The Orton Group recently completed a national magazine advertising campaign for SUNPAC, a Southern Utah cooperative of Utah’s five National Parks.
