This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
I love being pampered! After a long week nothing quite releases the tension like going to a spa for a massage. And with the opening of Orchard Spa & Bodyworks in Bountiful you don't have to travel to some remote resort to experience the same type of luxury.
Julia Embrey opened Orchard Spa three months ago, after spending a few years as a massage therapist at a hair salon. While there, Julia noticed that even though getting a massage at a salon is convenient for people, the practice creates a less relaxing atmosphere. Time after time, she observed the relaxing feeling of the massage leaving customers as soon as they left from the massage table and reentered the busy, chatty environment of a salon.
Since Julia always dreamed of starting her own business one day, she decided to leave the salon and opened Orchard Spa, where customers could come and spoil themselves with a massage in a soothing environment and leave still feeling relaxed. So far, Julia tells me she already has several repeat customers, many of which choose to go to Orchard Spa over driving to Park City.
When it comes to releasing stress and tension, Julia spares no expense. She owns three specially designed automated massage tables, which allow her or one of her three associates to easily move the customer into various massage positions without compromising comfort. In addition to the tables, Julia further enhances the stress-free atmosphere with soft colored walls, gentle music and a variety of services to choose from. Visitors of Orchard Spa can pick from a list of different types of massages including craniosacral and lymph drainage massages. Of course, you can also get a facial, pedicure, waxing, wrap or any other similar service.
I admit, after speaking with Julia at Orchard Spa & Bodyworks, a nice massage sounds rather relaxing.
