Salt Lake City-based DK Barson & Company has just released NBS-3, a consulting services package for new small businesses. NBS-3 accelerates the business development and lead generation activities for new start-up companies. For more information go to www.dkbarson.com.

Tree Utah donated and planted five trees at Volunteers of America’s Center for Women and Children to enhance the grounds as a Mother’s Day gift for the women receiving services there.

Bird Construction has been awarded up to $585 million dollars per year in renewable term contracts by the General Services Administration of the United States Government to design and build projects in 18 states.

Hartman Communications has donated 100 of their “Faith in America” CDs to Utah troops in Iraq. The CDs feature patriotic songs with narration by Dr. Taylor Hartman and music by the Salt Lake Children’s Choir.

The Chamber’s next Business After Hours is this Thursday, May 22nd at Rose Sachs Gardens. Rose Sachs Gardens is a reception and meeting center in a serene wooded canyon only a few minutes from downtown. There will be the usual prizes, food, and business building networking. Also this month is a special Business After Hours II in Wasatch County on May 29th. Business After Hours II will be at RJ Enterprises in Heber City.
