Dr. Randal Ellsworth, recipient of the 2000 Utah Humanitarian of the Year Award, will speak at the Chamber’s next Breakfast of Champions on Thursday, May 15 at 7:30 a.m. at the Shriner’s Hospital. Come hear Dr. Ellsworth’s fascinating story as part of the Rose Foundation, an organization that operates three schools in Guatemala. In addition to teaching the basics, these schools also provide education in sanitation, English, computer skills and elementary biology. The goal is to help the students learn to help themselves and break the cycle of poverty. You will learn how giving service can enrich your life in ways you may never have imagined. Breakfast of Champions is a series of bi-monthly morning sessions designed to inspire, stimulate, challenge, and energize all who attend. To register call the Chamber at 328-5077 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
