I've learned that Lone Peak High School star (and arguably the best player in the state) Tyler Haws has narrowed his choice of colleges to five schools:
BYU
Stanford
Harvard
Davidson,
and Utah.
Haws is with his father Marty on an official visit to Stanford this weekend, with official visits to the other four schools to follow. His coach at Lone Peak, Quincy Lewis, wants Tyler to make his college selection by October 1st, and Haws' visit schedule gives him time to make his trips, make up his mind, then make his choice before his senior season with the Knights gets underway.
