A $15 million dollar settlement garnered by Salt Lake City-based law firm Workman, Nydegger & Seeley was recently ranked in the Top Ten Settlements of the Year by Intellectual Property Today magazine. The settlement, won on behalf of 3Com Corporation, was in November of 2002.

Evans & Sutherland has been selected by Carmel Applied Technologies, Inc. to provide simFUSION, a PC-based image generator, for use in two major helicopter training programs. The program will be used in both the Canadian Air Force and U.S. Coast Guard.

Jaffarian Volvo-Toyota, an auto dealership in Massachusetts, has selected Love Communications to handle its brand advertising, marketing, and promotional efforts.

Strategic Staffing recently announced the opening of a second office in West Jordan on Redwood Road.

SymbolArts, based in South Ogden, was given a verbal go ahead with the United States Olympic Committee to supply commemorative products and public safety insignia for the 2004 Summer Games in Athens. The Utah Highway Patrol also awarded SymbolArts with a new order for more than 200 State Trooper badges.
