MIDVALE — One man died and another man was seriously injured after a shooting at an apartment complex Saturday morning, police said.

Emergency crews responded to a report of the shooting near 200 W. Plum Tree Ln. (6905 South) at around 9:55 a.m., according to Unified police detective Chuck Malm.

Malm said both were taken to a local hospital where one of the individuals died. Unified police later identified the deceased as 21-year-old Deondre Baldwin. The second victim, a 20-year-old male, remains in critical condition, according to police.
