The family of a University of Utah student hopes some surveillance video will lead to whomever stole an SUV full of the young man's possessions as he was starting college.
The Murrays drove from North Carolina to Utah in an Excursion loaded with freshman Eric Murray's things. His mom, Irene Murray, says they parked it at the U's guest house, but when they came out in the morning, there was only broken glass in the parking stall.
"Words cannot describe the feeling of losing everything we had," she said.
Eric stayed to start school and the swim team without any of his clothes, furniture, electronics, swim gear and memorabilia.
Video in the parking lot shows two young men in the area around 2:30 a.m.
"It has a good facial picture of one of them."
The car is shown leaving at 3:20. Police are not sure if those young men stole the car or if they saw who did it, but they do call them persons of interest.
You can see the surveillance video at the link on this page.
