Assistance Services for People In Need recently opened in Salt Lake. The company works with the doctors of low-income people that have no prescription coverage to make sure those people receive their prescriptions on a timely basis.
According to the Father’s Day Council of Utah, Governor Leavitt recently honored Utah 2002 Father of the Year, Scott Clark, during Marriage Week USA. The 2003 Father of the Year banquet will be on June 5th.
The Austrian Consulate recently opened in Salt Lake City. Utah resident and Austrian native Franz Kolb was appointed Honorary Consul for Austria. Honorary Consuls help foreign nationals with visa and passport issues and assist international visitors in distress.
Funding for special energy efficient projects is now available through the Utah Energy Office. A few of the many program categories available for funding include: Transportation, Building Technologies, Solar Technology, Wind Energy, Geothermal Outreach, Residential Deployment, Fuel Cells, and Biomass. The Chamber’s Business to Business Expo is more than just the largest business event in Utah.
