Standard Optical celebrated the grand opening of its new store in Murray last Saturday. The new store, located at 5289 South State Street, will house full-time optometrists who will specialize in exams for glasses, contacts, and LASIK. They are also a business partner with the Murray School District and are developing after school reading programs, exams for underprivileged children, and discounts for faculty.
Big-D Construction has been awarded a $16 million dollar contract to build the new Jackson Campus of Teton Science School. The new campus will consist of eight separate buildings in a rural setting near Jackson Hole.
CHOICE Humanitarian is looking for volunteers to go on an expedition to Badagaun Lamjung, Nepal. Volunteers will work with villagers to build a new school.
U.S. Bank is providing Mercy Housing Utah with $4.76 million dollars in construction and permanent loans to assist with the development of affordable housing in Kaysville, Utah. The money will be used to acquire and rehabilitate two apartment complexes.
