On Point Properties has selected Okland Construction Company to build a 300,000 square foot campus on 55 acres in Riverton. The building will be leased upon completion to Stampin’ Up!, a manufacturer of decorative rubber stamps, to be used as their world headquarters. The $20 million dollar project is scheduled for completion in July 2004. The project will merge Stampin’ Up!’s distribution center located in west Salt Lake City with its administrative offices located in Sandy.
AT&T Broadband in Utah has been named as a finalist in the 2003 Beacon Awards competition which recognizes excellence in public affairs throughout the cable industry. The entry was entitled, “AT&T Broadband Supports the Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games.”
The Crusade for the Homeless has recently funded a grant of $5,000 dollars to Salt Lake Donated Dental Services. The grant has helped provide dental care for 35 homeless people.
Caregiver Support Network, a licensed Home Health Agency in Salt Lake City, is now admitting Medicare clients. This allows the network to reach more seniors in need of care and advocacy.
