(KSL News) -- An unusual suspect caused a power outage in Salt Lake this afternoon.
Rocky Mountain Power says a rodent climbed into a substation and was electrocuted. The surge knocked out power to about 3,400 customers in the Capitol Hill area.
Crews are repairing the substation.
Rocky Mountain Power says it will take several hours.
