The Salt Lake Public Library selected Humaniz to launch their new web presence. The improvement of the library website at www.slcpl.ut.us is designed to coincide with the opening of the new main library downtown. The new website is scheduled to premier today.

Faster Marketing, a Utah-based consulting firm, announced the release of a new executive whitepaper entitled "Lead Generation: A Guide for Small Businesses." The guide is available at www.fastermarketing.com.

The staff from Volunteers of America participated in the National Random Acts of Kindness Week by serving cake and ice cream at Shriners Hospital last Thursday. Ben & Jerry's donated the ice cream and the Avenues Smith's donated the cake. The Repertory Dance Theater performed a short dance program and Scholastic Books donated books for the youth.

AT&T Wireless has introduced television interactive voting for the American Idol program. AT&T Wireless customers can vote for their favorite contestants on the show by using the text-messaging feature of their cell phone.
