NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $3.30 to $5.70 a bale lower Tuesday.

The average for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton declined 73 cents to 64.51 cents per pound Tuesday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
