IKON Office solutions, with local offices in South Jordan, reported results for the first quarter of its fiscal year. Net income was $32.5 million dollars compared to $32.6 million dollars for the same period a year ago.

The Associated General Contractors of Utah recently named Architectural Nexus as its "Architect of the Year." This honor from their peers is a result of nominations from the over 400 members of the Associated General Contractors of Utah which represents over 90 percent of the state's contractors. Architectural Nexus was formed last November by the merger of Jensen Haslem P.C. and Thomas Petersen Hammond Architects.

United Way of Salt Lake is asking people to help them create Valentine Gift Packages for distribution next week. The packages can include things such as hygiene items, soap, lotion, as well as something nice like flowers or a potted plant. For more information go to www.uw.org.

The Salt Lake Chamber and the community will honor Don Cash and Nick Rose of Questar as Giants In Our City next Tuesday, February 11th at the Little America Hotel. Don and Nick provided long-standing support for Salt Lake's quest to host the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, culminating with Questar Gas being named the Games' Official Natural Gas Supplier.
