Scores greet Little League champs home in upstate New York

ENDWELL, N.Y. (AP) — Thousands of supporters welcomed the new Little League World Series champions home to the Binghamton area.

The Press & Sun Bulletin of Binghamton reports (http://press.sn/2bWVpfS ) that members of the Maine-Endwell team were greeted Monday by a parade that included about two dozen fire trucks and sheriff's vehicles running their sirens.

The upstate New York team beat South Korea, 2-1 on Sunday to win the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Crowds chanted "USA! USA! USA!" as the team's bus returned home.
