We waited in line for an hour for a bus that would creep through the city to take us to Mile High Stadium. We would have to be sequestered there for security reasons until after the 10pm news.
We saw throngs of people as far as the eye could see walking to the stadium and we all paused for a moment....
rather than focusing on the hassle factor of the working conditions, we should marvel at this opportunity to witness and report history.
We were standing on our platform after the 4pm live shot and Jennifer Hudson sang the National Anthem. It was a wow.
