BAGHDAD (AP) — At least 15 people have been killed in a suicide bombing south of Baghdad. An Iraqi security official says the bomber attacked a wedding. Officials say five suicide bombers from the Islamic State group took part in the attack and four other attackers were killed by security forces.

SANAA, Yemen (AP) — The death toll is rising in the suicide car bombing of a military staging area in Yemen. The attack claimed by the Islamic State group in the southern city of Aden killed at least 45 pro-government troops who had been preparing to travel to Saudi Arabia to fight Houthi (HOO'-thee) rebels in Yemen's north.

DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) — Increasing terrorism in Bangladesh is a key concern for U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and other international officials in the capital, Dhaka for security and human rights talks. Kerry met today with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister Abul Hassam Mahmood Ali and was later to see opposition officials and talk to students.

BRUSSELS (AP) — The Brussels prosecutor says explosions heard by residents may have been materials consumed by a fire at Belgium's criminal institute early today. He says reports of a bombing are probably false and the incident was much more likely an arson attack designed to destroy criminal evidence.

NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — Authorities say it's unclear how three inmates escaped from a prison in Louisiana. Authorities say the men weren't armed, but should still be considered dangerous. The search is on today for the men who escaped from one of the dorms Saturday night and then apparently jumped over two rolls of razor-wire fence.
