THIS IS MICHAEL DE GROOTE FROM THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER, WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT

Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Camco Construction has hired Heather Ross as Administrative Assistant and David Williams as Business Development Manager. Jess Agraz of the Transportation Management Association was recently appointed Chairman of the Salt Lake City International Airport Board. Cameron Construction recently announced that co-owner, Mike Cervino, is retiring from the company to pursue other interests. John Cameron will become the sole owner of the 30-year-old company. Cameron Construction won the Chamber’s Giant Step Small Business Community Service Award last year. Onsite Companies, a national recruiting and staffing firm, has hire Daniel Allison as Account Manager, Tina Salisbury as Environmental Sales Manager in Engineering Management, and has promoted Reagan Thompson to a Senior Recruiting position in Contract Engineering.

There are two great Chamber events tommorrow, January 23rd. The “Top Ten Stories of 2002” and “Business After Hours.” The Top Ten Stories of 2002 brings local media together tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Salt Lake City. It’s a fun morning event and gives you a chance to meet local newspaper editors, television anchors, and radio reporters.

The next Business After Hours networking event is at Rowland Hall—St. Mark’s also tomorrow evening at 5 p.m. For more information on either event call the Chamber at 328-5077 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
