The Mountain States Fence Company, a long time Chamber member, celebrates its 40th anniversary this month.

Hartman Communications is now certified as an authorized provider of Continuing Education Units (or CEUs) and Contact Hours (or CE nursing credit).

The Utah Valley Technology Expo is coming up on February 13th at Utah Valley State College. For more information go to www.uvte.com.

The 2003 Utah Publicity Source Book™ was recently published. This is the Source Book’s 22nd edition. It contains contact information for Utah’s media. This year it will be available for the first time on the Internet at www.upsbonline.com. For an additional fee, users will be able to access the most up-to-date information online.

Friends for Sight is holding their 3rd annual Save Our Sight Day at the Capitol Rotunda on January 24th. Free vision screenings are from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There are two great Chamber events this Thursday, January 23rd. The “Top Ten Stories of 2002” and “Business After Hours.” The Top Ten Stories of 2002 brings local media together this Thursday at 7:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Salt Lake City. It’s a fun morning event and gives you a chance to meet local newspaper editors, television anchors, and radio reporters.

The next Business After Hours networking event is at Rowland Hall—St. Mark’s also this Thursday at 5 p.m. For more information on either event call the Chamber at 328-5077 or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
