Deer Valley Resort recently opened their new Royal Street Café. The Café occupies the space formally used by McHenry’s Restaurant in the Silver Lake Lodge. The Royal Street Café will offer an eclectic mix from edamane to specialty meat and veggie paninis.

According to the Enterprise, the AlphaGraphics store at 140 South Main Street now has new owners. Cheryl Christensen, who has been managing the store, and her husband Kelly Matosich bought the store from Rob Johnson. Johnson will continue to own AlphaGraphics stores in Bountiful and West Valley City.

Salt Lake City-based Spectrum+Bennion, an engineering firm, was honored by Intermountain Contractor magazine during the magazine’s Best of 2002 awards competition. Spectrum won the Outstanding Lighting Project for their lighting design on the George S. Eccles 2002 Legacy Bridge at the University of Utah. They also won the Outstanding Interior Project award for their work on the SkyBox Sports Grille and Arena at The Gateway.

R&O Construction has completed construction of two separate buildings that make up the Hearthside Inn Hotel in Las Vegas. The 150 room hotel held a grand opening on December 21st.

Every year the Chamber honors the best small business successes at the Giant Step Small Business Awards. Now is the time to nominate a small business for this award.
