CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. declined 17.75 cents at $3.8350 a bushel; Sept. corn lost 7.25 cents to 3.1625 a bushel; Sept. oats was fell 3.75 cents at $1.69 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans fell 7.50 cents to $9.9075 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle was off 2.12 cents at $1.1035 a pound; September feeder cattle fell 1.88 cents to $1.3992 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 2.62 cents at $.6132 a pound.
