LAS VEGAS (AP) — Two men have pleaded guilty in Las Vegas to federal charges in an armed confrontation with U.S. officials over grazing rights near cattleman Cliven Bundy's ranch. Gerald "Jerry" DeLemus and Blaine Cooper each admitted Thursday they conspired with others who engaged with Bundy in the tense gunpoint standoff in April 2014 about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — The first female North Las Vegas judge in city history has lost her job after admitting she engaged in professional misconduct. Catherine Ramsey's removal after five years on the bench came in a settlement of a state Commission on Judicial Discipline complaint.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Four Nevada airports are set to receive more than $5 million in federal grants for studies and projects aimed at improving their airfields. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Democratic Sen. Harry Reid announced the grants Wednesday for McCarran International, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Battle Mountain airports.
BAKER, Nev. (AP) — Gov. Brian Sandoval is spending the night at Great Basin National Park as part of the U.S. National Park Service's 100th birthday celebration. Sandoval was at the park at an official National Parks Centennial Celebration Thursday afternoon.
