LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a Las Vegas woman found burned to death near a highway south of the Colorado River resort city of Laughlin, and say she killed herself.
The Clark County coroner reported Wednesday that 65-year-old Helen Dawson of Las Vegas died of self-immolation.
Las Vegas police say the body was found a little after 5 p.m. July 11 near Needles Highway.
Police had considered the death suspicious, and began an investigation.
