LOS ANGELES (AP) — Nick Cannon's got talent — and homework.
The host of "America's Got Talent" and "Wild 'n Out" has begun his freshman year at Howard University. Cannon posted photos on social media earlier this week of his first day on campus in Washington, D.C.
Cannon says in a statement that he "decided to obtain my first college degree from an institution that had a proven legacy of producing great minds."
A spokeswoman for Cannon declined to say what major or degree the 35-year-old actor-rapper is pursuing at Howard University.
Cannon was back on set of "America's Got Talent" on Tuesday.
