NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Two men have been arrested in Memphis in the death of a 19-year-old last year on the Tennessee State University campus.
Nashville police say 20-year-old Robert Tunstall was taken into custody Tuesday in Memphis, and 20-year-old Christopher Gatewood was arrested Friday in Memphis.
A Davidson County grand jury indicted Gatewood and Tunstall on charges of first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault, weapons violations and reckless endangerment.
Police say a dispute over a dice game on Oct. 22 escalated into a physical fight and then gunfire. Cameron Selmon was fatally wounded, and three 18-year-old students who were passing by were injured, though not seriously.
Selmon was not a student at Tennessee State.
