SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (AP) — Ryota Endo allowed just four hits and one earned run in five innings and had one RBI to help Tokyo, Japan beat San Antonio, Texas 6-1 on Tuesday in a consolation game of the Little League World Series.

Japan had the bases loaded with two outs in the top of the first inning when Jo Adachi laced a two-run single to right field for a 2-0 lead. Japan made it 3-0 in the second on Yujiro Moriya's base hit up the middle.

Texas pulled to 3-1 in the second when Rilan Quinones blooped a single to score Blake Compton from second.

Takumi Ito doubled to lead off the fourth, advanced to third on a wild pitch and scored on Moriya's double over the left fielder for a 4-1 lead. In the sixth, Endo hit a double off the wall to score Moriya from first and Endo scored on Tatsuya Suzuki's single.
