CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery was 5.25 cents lower at $4.10 a bushel; Sept. corn was 4.50 cents lower at $3.2860 bushel; Sept. oats were .25 cent lower at $1.72 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans lost 4 cents to $10.3120 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .435 cents lower at $1.13 a pound; August feeder cattle was .73 cent lower at $1.4630 pound; October lean hogs gained .18 cents to to $.6133 a pound.
