LAS VEGAS (AP) — Court records and attorneys say two men are expected to plead guilty in Nevada this week to federal charges stemming from an armed confrontation with U.S. land management agents over grazing rights near cattleman Cliven Bundy's ranch. The charges stem from a tense gunpoint standoff in April 2014 on an Interstate 15 freeway overpass about 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has cancelled a Las Vegas rally a day after the event was announced. The Trump campaign confirmed Monday afternoon that a planned campaign stop to the South Point Arena that had been scheduled for Friday afternoon had been cancelled.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say two people are dead and one person is injured after the vehicle they were travelling in went off a cliff in Carson City. Emergency personnel had responded to a report of the crash early Monday in the Goni Canyon area.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Clark County School District is set to receive $5 million after suing an air conditioning contractor that abandoned work at 15 schools and declared bankruptcy. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports a federal judge approved the settlement Thursday between the district and Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America.
