SANDY, Utah (AP) — Jamison Olave scored in the 78th minute, Nick Rimando had his fourth shutout of the season and Real Salt Lake beat FC Dallas 1-0 on Saturday night.
Olave put a half-volley into the top of the net from just right of the spot. Moments after Dallas goalkeeper Chris Seitz made diving save of a shot by Joao Plata, Javier Morales played a cross into the area. Aubrey David attempted to clear with a header, but Olave trapped it with his chest a blasted a right footer for his second goal of the year.
FC Dallas (13-7-6) had its four-game unbeaten streak snapped.
Rimando had two saves for Salt Lake (11-8-7).
