LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police have made an arrest in the homicide of a woman found dead in a Las Vegas home.
Authorities say 25-year-old Jaime Santana was booked Friday on a charge of murder with a deadly weapon.
Patrol officers were called Aug. 12 about the discovery of a body of a woman at the home of Santana's father.
The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 25-year-old Cinthia Wendy Perez-Rodriguez and found she died of blunt force head trauma.
According to an arrest report, the victim and the suspect had gone to high school together and had reunited a few days before she was found.
Investigators have spent the past week searching for Santana.
It was not immediately known Saturday if he had an attorney.
