PARIS (AP) — The Bastille Day truck attack in the Riviera city of Nice has claimed an 86th victim.
The secretary of state charged with aid to victims, Juliette Meadel, said in a tweet on Friday that a man injured in the July 14 attack has died.
The married man with children, whose name was not released, was the second of those hospitalized to die since the attack by a Tunisian living in France who drove a truck into a crowd of revelers on France's national day.
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack, as it did for the July 26 killing of a priest in a church in northwest France.
IS said the June slayings of a police couple in their home west of Paris were also their work.
