BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) — Students at Virginia Tech are getting two more campus dining options: school-run food trucks.
The school says in a statement that the two trucks — The Grillfield and Periodic Table — are preparing to open Monday.
The school says The Grillfield will serve Latino-fusion foods, including smoked pulled pork tortas and beef barbacoa tortillas. Periodic Table will serve Asian-fusion meals, such as Thai peanut pork rice bowls and lemongrass chicken yaki-ramen. The school says students should expect the trucks' menus to change with the season.
The school says the trucks will serve lunch, dinner and late-night meals.
