LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Republican operative says he made a mistake by asking potential sponsors of a forthcoming Donald Trump fundraiser at Lake Tahoe to make checks out to a PAC and not the state party. A Nevada GOP official says the issue with George Harris's solicitation letter has been resolved.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a dog that mauled a 9-year-old Las Vegas boy this week fought another dog in the same neighborhood last month. Clark County spokesman Dan Kulin said Friday the owner of the 3-year-old pit bull mixed-breed was issued a citation July 11 because his dog hadn't been neutered or vaccinated. Officials haven't made the man's name public. The dog has been euthanized.
