SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Salt Lake City police are investigating after a badly decomposed body was found in a drainage pipe near the Jordan River.
Police said Thursday the body was found by Salt Lake City Water Department workers who were cleaning the pipe.
The condition of the body makes it unclear how the person died. Age and gender also haven't been determined.
The body was taken to the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
