LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police say they are looking for two stolen nuclear density gauges containing radioactive isotopes.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2b2U85K ) that the gauges were reported stolen from a garage on Thursday. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health says the tools contain radioactive Americium 241 and Cesium 137 and breaking them open could create a health hazard.

The division said in a statement that the radiation couldn't be deployed easily but warned anyone who comes into contact with the devices to use caution. The gauges are yellow with digital keypads.
