PRAGUE (AP) — A Czech company is offering bus trips to Auschwitz and elsewhere with the images of Holocaust victims and the Nazi death camp on its exterior.
It suggests that the trip is entertainment, with the bus bearing ads in Czech: "Come to Auschwitz" and "A journey through emotions."
The bus got its look while used in a movie, but the images weren't removed, drawing condemnation from the Jewish community.
Balkanbus owner Svatopluk Strava told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he is planning to do something about it, saying "it won't remain like that" but declined to give details. He said he is consulting a lawyer over the issue.
The company's website still included the bus' photo Wednesday.
