ATLANTA, Georgia CNN) — An unsolved murder case that gripped the nation is getting revisited by CBS for an upcoming limited series, and CNN has the first trailer.
Almost 20 years after the death of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey resulted in a string of questions and no convictions, the original investigators on the case will attempt to solve her murder again in "The Case of: JonBenet Ramsey."
In the trailer, a team of experts use then-unavailable technology to re-examine key evidence from the investigation, create full-scale replicas of the crime scene and conduct new interviews.
"This little girl's homicide to this date has not been resolved. In my opinion, I think we can change that right now," said retired FBI special agent James Fitzgerald in the trailer.
The show comes on the heels of successful true crime docuseries like "The Jinx" and "Making a Murder."
