NORTH BENNINGTON, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont nonprofit will now handle the arts education at an independent children's academy under a new partnership.
The Bennington Banner (http://bit.ly/2bnJlS3 ) reports that the Vermont Arts Exchange and the Village School of North Bennington have for years partnered on several projects. VAE has worked with individual teachers to incorporate art projects into their curriculums.
School officials say this new partnership will give the students more opportunities to engage in creative work with the community arts organization.
Many lessons will be taught out of the school's arts studio, but some projects will be done at the organization located nearby.
