LOS ANGELES (AP) — United Airlines says a flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco was diverted to Santa Barbara after smoke was reported in the passenger cabin following a mechanical problem.
United spokeswoman Maddie King says Flight 460 landed without incident at Santa Barbara Municipal Airport around 7:20 p.m. Monday.
King says all 140 passengers on the Airbus 320 were placed on other flights to San Francisco. No injuries were reported.
King didn't say what kind of mechanical problem led to the diversion.
