CHICAGO (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have placed right-hander Michael Blazek on the 15-day disabled list with a right forearm strain.
Right-hander Damien Magnifico was called up from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday, joining a big league roster for the first time.
The Brewers also recalled right-hander Tyler Cravy as the 26th player for Tuesday's split doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs.
Blazek has a 5.58 ERA in 40 appearances with the Brewers this season. He allowed four runs and four hits in one inning in Saturday's 11-5 loss to Cincinnati.
The 25-year-old Magnifico has a 3.18 ERA in 47 games for Colorado Springs.
