NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 51-year-old man who was shot dead and apparently robbed during the weekend on a street in a North Las Vegas industrial area.
Police Officer Aaron Patty said Monday that no assailant was immediately identified in the pre-dawn Saturday slaying of Marlon Porfirio Osorio-Rivera near Stocker Street and Tonopah Avenue.
Patty says tractor-trailer trucks were parked near where police responding to a report of gunshots found Osorio-Rivera dead on a sidewalk with his pockets emptied.
The Clark County coroner says he'd been shot in the head.
