NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Police are seeking witnesses to a weekend double-slaying in a parking lot outside a North Las Vegas casino.
Officer Aaron Patty said Monday that officers responding to a call about gunfire at 4 a.m. Sunday found two men dead outside the Silver Nugget casino.
Patty says the shooter or shooters haven't been identified, no motive has been determined, and no arrests have been made.
He says there were many people in the parking lot when shots were fired, and detectives hope someone will tell what happened.
The Clark County coroner didn't immediately release the victims' names.
In May, the Silver Nugget was the scene of the fatal shooting of a casino security guard by a North Las Vegas police officer after the guard beat another casino employee to death.
