PITTSBURGH (AP) — A western Pennsylvania gymnastics coach has been ordered to stand trial on charges he sexually abused a teenage student and two other girls who came forward with 15-year-old allegations after his arrest was publicized.
The defense attorney for 45-year-old Keith Callen, of Sarver, didn't immediately comment after his preliminary hearing Monday.
Callen was first charged in April with molesting the girl from age 14 to 17 while her private coach.
State police filed the new charges in July when two sisters came forward and alleged Callen molested them in 2001, when they were 6 or 7.
Callen remains free on bond and is charged with sexual assault by a sports official and other crimes in the first case, and aggravated indecent assault and other charges against the sisters.
