CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery was 6 cents lower at $4.16 a bushel; Sept. corn was .50 cent lower at $3.26 bushel; Sept. oats was .50 cents higher at $1.7240 a bushel; while August soybeans lost 9.50 cents to $10.14 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .93 cent lower at $1.15 a pound; August feeder cattle was off .73 cent at $1.4793 pound; August lean hogs was up .25 cent to $.6275 a pound.
