Missoula high school librarian killed in Bozeman crash

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Gallatin County officials have released the name of a 57-year-old Missoula woman who died in a crash west of Bozeman.

The coroner's office says Christine Fogerty died when a trailer came loose from a dump truck, rolled into the oncoming lane and struck Fogerty's car on Friday morning. Fogerty died at the scene. A passenger was seriously injured.

Missoula Big Sky High School Principal Natalie Jaeger tells the Missoulian that Fogerty, who was the school's librarian, was visiting family in Bozeman at the time of the crash.
