NEW YORK (AP) — The latest on developments in global financial markets (all times local):

Stocks are rising on Wall Street Monday in a continuation of the see-saw pattern they've displayed in recent days.
Chemical and mining companies are leading the gainers, and energy companies are climbing along with the price of oil.
After new home prices rose by the fastest pace in eight years in June, a new survey showed U.S. homebuilders are feeling more optimistic about the market.
The Dow Jones industrial average is up 77 points, or 0.4 percent, to 18,653. The Standard & Poor's 500 is up 9 points, or 0.4 percent, to 2,193. The Nasdaq composite is up 33 points, or 0.6 percent, to 5,266.
Oil is up 92 cents to $45.41 a barrel in New York. Gold, silver and copper prices are all rising.

Stocks are opening slightly higher on Wall Street Monday following modest gains in Europe and Asia.
Overnight Japan reported subdued economic growth figures for the second quarter. This week investors will be focused on the release of minutes from the Federal Reserve's latest meeting and earnings from retailers.
Energy companies led the gainers. The Dow Jones industrial average is up 68 points, or 0.4 percent, to 18,644. The Standard & Poor's 500 is up 6 points, or 0.3 percent, to 2,191. The Nasdaq composite is up 19 points, or 0.4 percent, to 5,253
Oil rose 61 cents to $45.10 a barrel in New York. The yield on the 10-year Treasury rose to 1.54 percent.
