NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — A military aircraft museum in Nampa is so packed with aircraft and vintage cars that the owners are hoping to expand for more space.
The Idaho Press-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/2bdEUgy ) that John and Sue Paul are working to expand the Warhawk Air Museum at the Nampa Airport, which displays restored aircraft, vintage cars from World War I to Vietnam.
The 40,000-square-foot museum is running out of room so the Pauls are working on a fundraising campaign to add another 14,000 square feet by renovating a maintenance hangar that sits behind the airport.
The Pauls estimate that the addition will cost about $800,000 to $900,000.
