CENTERVILLE — A woman and her dog were hit and killed while walking on the freeway early Saturday.
Davis County Sheriff's Office dispatch received a call at about 3 a.m., saying a woman and a dog were walking in the travel lanes on northbound I-15 at Parrish Lane in Centerville. Before police could reach the scene, another call came in from the driver of semi truck saying he had hit the woman and the dog.
Police are investigating the incident.
The woman was identified as 36-year-old Laurie Lake, of Centerville.
