CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — A special prosecutor has cleared Canyon County Sheriff Kieran Donahue of wrongdoing after a lengthy investigation into whether he misused county resources to benefit a charitable organization he heads. POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Pocatello Police say a 40-year-old man was shot early Saturday during an argument with his neighbor over dogs in the neighborhood. He was treated for a gunshot wound to his side at a local hospital and later released.

SEATTLE (AP) — Legendary Seattle climber Fred Beckey is the focus of a new documentary film about his life. Beckey has notched more first ascents than any other American mountaineer and wrote the definitive guidebooks to climbing the Cascades Mountains in the Pacific Northwest. And at age 93, he's still plotting routes _ though more slowly and buoyed by a cadre of fiercely protective partners. The documentary _ "Dirtbag: The Legend of Fred Beckey" _ is expected out next year.
